モンゴルからきたドラです。私は、昨年の４月にモンゴルから日本語の勉強にやって来ました
ドラともうします。
日本に来るにあたって日本のどこが自分に適しているのかまった
くわらなかったので、モンゴルで通っていた日本語学校の校長先生
にどこがいいのかアドバイスをおねがいしました。
私の希望は、｢あまり暑くないところ｣、というのはモンゴルはと
ても寒い所ですから、暑いところは苦手なのです。
次に、｢安全なところ｣、人が多くて怖いところはもちろん嫌だか
らです。
校長先生が薦めてくれたところは、｢福島県のいわき市｣という所
で、なんでも日本一面積の広い市なんだそうです。ですから町には
人が少なく、なんか老人が多くて、安全そうで、私の希望条件にピ
ッタリです。
１年間のビザを取得するのに、１年分滞在できることを証明する
お金が必要で、その資金作りのため羊４００頭を父が売ってお金を
用意してくれました。これはモンゴルではとても、とても大きなお
金です。
今は学校とアルバイト先との往復の毎日ですが、学校には多くの
友達もでき楽しい毎日です。日本人の若い友達がまだできないのが
残念です。でもアパートの大家さんのところにはちょくちょく遊び
に行って、ご馳走になったりしてます。
大家さんに、着物を着ている人たちの話をしたら、今度、私の友
達の金さんと私に着物を着せてくれると言ってくれました。せっか
く日本に来たのだし、ぜひ綺麗な着物を着て、写真を撮りたいと思
っていたので、今からその日来るのが待ちどおしいです。
日本に来てビックリした事の１つに海があります。モンゴルは海
には面してませんから海を見たことがありませんでした。しばらく
の間学校が終わると友達にお願いして、車で海に連れて行ってもら
いました。
一度なんか、台風の日に行きましたが、波が荒くて大きく、感動
しました。友達は怖がっていましたけど、私は大きな波が大好きに
なりました。
次にビックリした事、それはこちらで最初に働いた工場での事です
が、一緒に働いていた老人が、私の事を｢お姉さん、お姉さん｣と呼ん
だのです。
学校では｢お姉さん｣と呼ぶのは自分の弟か、妹と教えられていたの
で、なぜ、この老人が私の事を｢お姉さん｣と呼ぶのかわからなく、気
持ち悪く、返事をせずに、逃げ回ってました。その後、友達にこの話
をし、理由がわかり安心しました。
もう一つあります。モンゴルに電話をかけるために、公衆電話を探
していたときの事です。場所をたずねたら、その老人が｢そば、そば｣
と言ったのです。
私、｢そば｣とは食べるそばしか知らなかったので、｢そば｣いらない
お腹いっぱいと答えました。そしたらその老人がさらに大きな声で、
｢すぐ、そば、そば｣と言いました。
私もさらに大きな声で｢そば、食わない、いらない。電話！｣と声を
張り上げました。そしたらその老人が私の腕をつかんで、すぐ近くに
あった電話ボックスまで連れて行ってくれました。
最後にもう一つ。私のクラスの先生は髪が薄く、本人は凄く気にし
ているそうなのです。クラスの友達が｢先生の髪の毛寒いよね｣と言っ
てました。私はなぜ髪の毛が寒くなるのかわらず先生に質問してしま
いました。
｢先生なぜ髪の毛寒い？｣ 皆の居る前でそんな質問をされた先生は
真っ赤な顔をして、｢外国人の生徒きらい！｣、と言って怒ってしまい
ました。
これでおわり・・・
ここ、いわき市は気に入りましたので、もうしばらく居ますのでまた
お便りします。
